Horse riding
For the lovers of horses, riding through Cetina region will be an excursion to remember for a beginner or just as well for an experience rider. Beautiful intact nature and view on the Cetina region while on horseback bring you back to times when if you are not so experienced, riding school offers classes with peaceful, trained horses maintained by a professional instructor and a breeder with thirty years of experience. Another visitors' favourite is the visit to the hippodrome of the town Sinj. Every year, on the first weekend of August, the manifestation called SINJSKA ALKA takes place. This manifestation is homage to the victory over Turks in 1715.
Canyoning
Canyoning is lately one of the most popular excursions, possible only in the areas of untouched nature. In the canyon one has to be prepared to all sorts of challenges that include walking, jumping, swimming in the river and climbing high cliffs and rocks. During this unforgettable trip, professional guides will be by your side. Kraljevac is the starting point, situated 23 kilometres up the road from Omis, along the left coast of river Cetina. Once arrived by bus high in the canyon, one must decide how to reach the waterfall. More audacious will use the rope down the cliff, some will jump in the water while others may just walk peacefully. Shorts and T-shirts, trekking boots or strong sports shoes are everything you need during your stay since the rest of the equipment is provided by the organiser. If you want to take pictures, a waterproof camera is a must.
Rafting
Rafting is an exciting sport that has a long tradition in Cetina region. Once high in the canyon, visitors in the boats descend the river by trying to overcome its wild currents. Since the water is cold, the rafters wear a special suit provided by the organiser. This is one of the most favourite sports with visitors since it is very unpredictable so the crew of the boat has to be well coordinated. This feature makes it an ideal choice for team building. But do not worry, every boat has its own guide responsible for the crew .The whole trip last for about 3-4 hours and is very exciting: surprising currents, waterfalls and abundant vegetation create natural tunnels giving one the impression of being far away from the civilisation. A special surprise for the rafters is a beautiful cave behind the waterfall Studenci where a lunch break can be organised.
